3    Watershed Challenge     Fall - 2020

Online Registration Unavailable

Description:
Friends of the St. Clair River is offering their new, exciting 12-week Watershed Challenge! In this Challenge, you will learn more about your watershed—what it is, why it’s important, and what you can do to help protect it. The challenges will have you getting your hands wet, your boots dirty, building with tools and using technology. Examples of challenges include:

• Explore a stream near your house
• Pick up litter at the beach
• Take pictures of the storm drains in your neighborhood
• Start a compost pile
• Plant a tree

Friends of the St. Clair River will highlight a different category every other week (virtually of course) but you can complete the challenges in the order that works best for you. Make sure to send a picture of each completed challenge to get credit. Families that complete the 12-week Watershed Challenge by doing two activities from each category and send us a picture of each completed challenge will receive a Watershed Hero gift and be entered to win larger prizes.

Once you registratin is complete, we will contact you via email and provide you all the details for the upcoming challenges.
